Meet OJ Sanders! OJ is joining the EGR team as our accountant.
OJ earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University. After graduating in 2010, he spent the next 10 years at a regional public accounting firm. He joined the firm’s assurance department performing financial statement audits. Shortly after, he transitioned into a new role in the advisory department as an outsourced, fractional controller and consultant.
Following a decade in public accounting, OJ decided to make the switch to the private sector. OJ joined the EGR team in the Fall of 2020 where he analyzes, prepares, and keeps track of financial reports. OJ’s attention to detail, organizational skills and problem-solving mentality add structure and balance to the company – much like the reports he puts together.
When he’s not crunching numbers, OJ enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons. He is also a huge soccer fan. You can often find him checking the scores of big matches happening throughout the week.
