Meet Cody Machala! Cody is joining the EGR team as a Project Manager.
Cody has been in the construction industry nearly all of his life. He hung out at his dad’s construction company as a kid and began working there at just 12 years old. After graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Business Management, he went into the construction business full time.
Prior to EGR, Cody was the Director of Construction for a property management company in Dallas, TX with properties in California, Arizona, Texas and Florida. For 15 years he oversaw all of their interior and exterior value-add and capital renovation projects.
With 20 years of construction and property management under his belt, Cody decided to make the switch to EGR as a project manager. In that role, he works closely with each department to ensure each job meets and exceeds customer expectations.
His resume is also stacked with quite a few hobbies and even a side gig. In the midst of his property management work, Cody owned and operated a retail liquor store for 5 years. While that still constitutes work, Cody isn’t all business all the time. You can find him spending much of his free time with his wife and two kids at home and at the lake. He is also an avid golfer and licensed helicopter pilot.
