EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT!

Jeff Goodwin joined the EGR team last December when another team member reached out with an opportunity. Jeff is an extremely well-rounded employee – he really does it all. From building custom pieces to operating large machinery, Jeff is always eager to do what is needed and help out in any area.

Describe your day-to-day role:

Each day is different – I do whatever is asked of me. One day it may be building an order of 5-piece shaker doors or building a structure. Lately, I’ve been learning to operate EGR’s Makor paint line.

What has been your favorite project to date? Why?

I liked the Fannie Mae project because it was a big project for a big client. It seemed to go fairly smooth.

What is your biggest challenge on any given job?

The biggest challenge for me right now is in learning the Makor. I’m used to building with my hands, and now I’m operating an automated paint line.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy taking road trips to visit friends and family. I also enjoy many types of physical fitness, especially mountain biking and yoga. Recently, I’ve been working on my golf game.

What’s the most gratifying part of the job?

Seeing the cool products getting shipped and viewing it all the way installed on the EGR social media pages.
